Carpe Diem:  Two powerful words.  First written in the 8th century by the Roman poet, Horace, “Carpe Diem” essentially means “seize the day” or “pluck the opportunity.”  It is an optimistic and empowering attitude towards life.  But how many of us fail to live life to its fullest and reach our full potential.  Weaving personal stories with universal lesson, Bridget Carley and Scott O’Reilly aim to inspire audiences to appreciate the beauty and magnificence that surrounds us and tap the hidden potential that lies with each of us.

 

Overcoming Loss and Adversity:  Mortality is part of the human condition.  Naturally, we fear death.  But even more, most of us are afraid to love and live fully.  In this lecture, Bridget and Scott share stories and insight on the grieving process. The loss of a loved one can indeed tear a hole in the fabric of our lives.  However, we can find to weave the stories and spirits of our departed loved ones into the tapestry of our lives.

 

Achieving Excellence and Reaching Our Potential:  We are creatures that naturally seek meaning and purpose.  Achieving our aims leads to happiness.  Conversely, when we are thwarted from our goals frustration is the result.  In this lecture, Bridget and Scott discuss how individuals can identify their highest potential and the harness the strategies necessary to achieve excellence and happiness.
